Here is a recipe I made recently for salad and dessert day at work, and it was a hit. It is similar to a trifle but has cream cheese in it.

Blueberry Delight
1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
½ cup confectioners’ sugar
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1pkg (3.4oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cartoon (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
1 angel food cake cut into 1-inch pieces
1 quart fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed - I mix frozen blueberries (thawed and drained) and
fresh raspberries - any berries or combination would work
Additional blueberries for garnish, optional

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar. Add milk and pudding mix; mix well.
Fold in 1 - ½ cups of whipped topping. Place half of the cake cubes in a 3-qt glass bowl. Layer with half of the berries and pudding mixture. Spread remaining whipped topping over top. Garnish with additional berries if desired. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Nancy,
This is for M in Montana, who was wondering about bleaching down pillows: I just added about 1/2 cup or so to a full laundry tub of water. The day I was doing my spring cleaning, the stains & smell bothered me so much that it was either try bleach or throw them out. I don't think they are the highest of quality (they were a wedding gift) but we have gotten many more years of use out of them this way. About twice a year I wash all the pillows in the house & the ones that don't hold up get thrown out, I didn't realized there were natural oils to be worried about, until I read you question and thought "oh well - they ar still comfortable for us".
Hope this helps you out, as I am in no way a "cleaing expert"

My husband loves to go camping.  (My idea of camping out is an air conditioned motel room with no bugs or flies.) This weekend he insisted that we go camping. Not being able to talk him out of it, I wanted to take along things that were easy to cook and easy to wash afterwards.  I had just purchased the lifetime membership to the e-cookbooks library and found one whole cookbook on campouts.  The following recipes were winners on both simple recipes and required little washing of dishes.  The subscription is the best bargain I ever had.

PS
To the lady duct taping her husband's TV remote - My husband boasts that the power in the house is determined by who has the remote.  I purchased another one that looks just like his at a garage sale and put dead batteries in it.  When he gets up to get something to drink I change the channel to the home and garden channel and switch the remote with dead batteries for his remote.  I hide the batteries so he can't find any. It takes him a while but he gives up on trying to change the channel without the remote. He finds something else to do rather than watch TV. I do this about once a month.  It has been working for about 2 years and he hasn't caught on yet. He keeps mumbling something about batteries are what they used to be.  (I don't want him to get an inflated ego and think he has all the power in the house ... and I get to watch one complete program without the channel changing 3 or 4 times.) LOL.

SALSA CHICKEN
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 jar salsa

Wrap each piece of chicken in a foil "envelope." Pour salsa over chicken and seal foil tightly. Place over fire and cook for 40 minutes. If you don't have a grill over the fire, place on a rock near the fire, but not directly in the flames and cook for the same amount of time, turning every 10 to 15 minutes.

CHOCOLATE−PEANUT BUTTER WRAPS
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
4 (8−inch) flour tortillas
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on each tortilla. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips on half of each tortilla. Roll up, beginning with the topping side. Wrap each tortilla in heavy−duty foil; seal tightly. Grill, covered, over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until
heated through. Unwrap and eat.

I am looking for a TNT recipe for EVOO based Pasta Primavera. I would love to have the clone recipe from Zio’s Italian Kitchen, but cannot find it. Thanks so much.

Sarah, for the Spaghetti Sauce with pickles, I use whatever brand of bread & butter pickles are available - never the same brand (but don't buy the hot ones). As for the wine, I wouldn't cook with a wine I wouldn't drink, so I use a sweet red wine, which is my favorite. I'm sure any drinkable red wine would do. I made this sauce for years without the wine, then discovered it's better with it.

The milk that is called for in the Dorothy's Fudge Puddles, is sweetened condensed milk. It is usually in the cake mix, frosting section of our stores. Hope you can find it as they are delicious!

This is for Kathy who wanted the Hershey Cocoa Fudge recipe in June 22nd's newsletter. I have used this recipe for nearly 40 years .....it is a winner!!!
Donna in Iowa

Hershey Cocoa Fudge
3 cups granulated sugar
4 T. corn syrup
½ cup Hershey’s Cocoa
1 cup milk (can be evaporated or reg. milk)

Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Lower heat and use a candy thermometer….heat to 238º. Remove from heat immediately. Add 4 T butter (or margarine) and 1 tsp. vanilla. Let cool briefly.

Beat (I use a hand mixer) until it changes color and is not so glossy. Add nuts, if desired and pour quickly into an 9” x 9” pan. Let cool and cut into squares.

Hi Nancy, I am responding to Kathy, who was asking for the original recipe on the box of Hershey's Cocoa.

Hershey's Cocoa Fudge
1/3 C. cocoa
3 C. sugar (Domino's, the best)
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2C. milk
1/2 stick of butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine the cocoa, sugar and salt Add milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly to 236º. Remove from heat - cool to 110º. Add vanilla and butter. Stir after cooled. When it looses the gloss from stirring and starts to harden, quickly pour into buttered pan. You can add 1 C. of chopped nuts, if desired. depending on size of pan, determines the thickness Cool and cut into pieces I just made two batches for a graduation party.
