1-1/2 c. biscuit mix
1 well-beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded cheddar, sharp
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
TOPPING
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. biscuit mix
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. poppy seed
Saute onion in butter until tender and lightly browned. Stir egg and milk into biscuit mix. Add onions and cheese. Turn into a greased 8x2 round cake pan. Blend topping ingredients, except seeds. Crumble over dough, then sprinkle with seeds. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve hot and cut into pie-shaped wedges.
