CARAMEL SQUARES
|
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/3 c. milk
2 c. quick oats
2 c. Bisquick
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. melted margarine
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat caramels and milk over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and mix oats and Bisquick in bowl. Stir in margarine until crumbly. Press 1/2 of mix in 12x9x2-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over baked layer. Drizzle caramel mix over that. Sprinkle rest of crumbs mix over top. Press lightly. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
