ITALIAN MEATLOAF AND NOODLES
2 tbsp. pure vegetable oil
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 (6 oz.) cans Hunts tomato paste
3 (6 oz.) cans water

Combine sauce ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.

MEATLOAF:
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1 lb. noodles, cooked & drained
Grated cheese  

Mix together beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and basil. Add 3/4 cup prepared sauce and blend well. Form into loaf, shape and place in 6 x 10 inch (or larger) baking dish. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Pour on remaining sauce and continue baking for 15 minutes. Serve meatloaf on platter lined with cooked noodles and top with sauce from baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
