LEMON BASIL PORK CHOPS
4 Pork  Chops (1-1/4 inch thick boneless pork loin chops)
1/2 cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Combine bread crumbs, margarine, lemon peel and basil. In small bowl, combine egg and lemon juice. Brush chops with egg, then dip in crumb mixture to coat top and sides. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30 to 40 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees F., turning once halfway through baking. In small saucepan, heat Marinara sauce. Serve over chops.
 

Makes 4 servings.
