LEMON DESSERT FOR A CROWD
|
1 small can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 small pkg. Jello (we use lime or mixed fruit)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (here in Atlanta, that means pecans!)

Pour evaporated milk into pie pan and put in freezer until slushy. Measure pineapple juice + water to equal 1 3/4 cups.
Use this juice mixture to make Jello. Let Jello congeal slightly. Make whipped cream using slushy milk + sugar.
Whip Jello until frothy. Chip up cream cheese into Jello mixture. Add whipped cream, pineapple and nuts. Pour into a Pyrex dish and refrigerate
