1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. corn starch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup boiling water
2 tbsps. butter
1-1/2 tbsps lemon juice
Mix first 4 ingredients and gradually add
water in pan. Cook over low heat 'til thick
and clear. Add butter and lemon juice and
blend thoroughly. Serve over bread pudding.
