TUNA LASAGNA
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans water-packed tuna, well drained
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream soup, mushroom or chicken
1/2 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cottage cheese
8 oz. Swiss or mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
Grated Parmesan cheese

 

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles according package directions. Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion in butter. Add tuna soup, milk and seasonings. In buttered 7 x 11 inch baking pan. Place alternate layers of noodle tuna sauce, cottage cheese and sliced cheese ending with sliced Swiss or mozzarella. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese top. Bake 30 minutes. Let lasagna. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting to serve. Makes 6 large servings of 1 1/2 cups each approximately 275 calories
